Mein Liebster Award and How to Show a Blogger Love

Did you know I grew up in Germany? Well, I did. I also went to Lloret de Mar Spain for Spring Break, which at the time was kind of the Daytona Beach of Europe. My greatest regret (besides the tattoo) is that I was too young while living overseas to appreciate it, and spent far too much of the time partying instead of understanding the privilege.

Anyhoooo…this random flashback is brought to you by the Liebster Award, which was awarded to Solitary Mama by Elizabeth aka Word Nerd,  a brilliant blogger you should go visit. Right now. I’ll wait.

(Totally should’ve thought about that when my brilliant idea was to write about Earwax for the letter E or Howdy Doody is Totally Creepy for the letter H.)

Mutant Supermodel- I’ve just recently started following her but she has tons of single mother stuff on her blog as well as a plan for debt elimination.

Part 2 Even Though There Really Isn’t a Part 1:  How to Show a Blogger You Love Them

We’re kind of weird animals, us bloggers (or maybe just me, me and me.) So I thought I’d add this for all you readers that love me. For one, you should tell me often that you love me and that this is the best blog you’ve ever read. But, since that probably won’t work as well for other bloggers, here’s what you do (and you should start with the Liebster Awardees up there and the blogs in the Blog Posse on the right.)

Follow the Blog- I’m totally all for following blogs by any and every means available. Networked Blogs, Google Friends, Facebook Fan Page, email, whatever. Subscribe so you will be notified of updates. This is one of those times when it’s okay to stalk people.

Comment – If you’re reading, lurking is okay but we LOVE comments and you should comment as often as possible. On this blog, you can comment by Facebook, but if don’t want to or you aren’t on FB, you can comment on the blog below the Facebook Comments section.

Like, Tweet, Google Plus, Share – When you share a post or article on your Facebook wall or Twitter,  it brings more readers. We love readers.

Check Out the Blog Roll or Blog Posse – Bloggers put together a list of other bloggers that they like as sort of recommendations. I know in my own Blog Posse, there are losers who haven’t updated their blogs since the internet was invented (you know who you are), but you should definitely check out the bloggers’ friends when visiting. You may find other blogs that you enjoy reading as well.

It is always okay to comment on how brilliant I am  they are and of course, just reading is love in itself.
