I’m starting another series because I usually get tired of all of the other series by the second post. Bad news for Stupid List Fridays, I know. But good news for the Anti-Blogger! Woot!

What is the Anti-Blogger?

The Anti-Blogger series is going to be all of the stupid crap bloggers do except I’m going to also be doing it. Doesn’t make sense? Don’t care. It sounds kind of superhero-ish to me and it’s a lot more fun than writing a blog post on the many reasons I hate your blog. Plus I may have already written that post a whole bunch of times but I’m too lazy to look. If I didn’t do it, I was thinking it. 1

Welcome to Wordless Wednesday, Lazy and Boring Bloggers

This here is sand. And some rocks too.

Wordless Wednesday is usually on Wednesday and is one of the days of the week when lazy bloggers all over the internet post a random picture to their blogs. This picture may or may not mean something to the blogger, is usually not really interesting, may be stolen from someone who will probably sue for a copyright violation, and includes words, because wordless on Wordless Wednesday doesn’t actually mean wordless.

Now that I’ve done one, I totally get it. It’s super lazy blogging and now I don’t have to think of another blog post until Friday!

What do you think of Wordless Wednesday?

  1. Thinking is the same as doing.

Why am I always the first to comment before the sh*t storm hits? Well maybe it won’t this time? Hahahaha, I’m sure you inadvertently called someone’s baby ugly, told 7 year olds to take up smoking, and kicked a homeless person by saying you don’t really care for Wordless Wednesday. She-devil.

Yeah, I hate it too. Pretty, sure whatever, rare if I click a Wordless Post, I READ blogs, I’d follow people on tumblr, instagram or photo blogs if I didn’t want to read words. Your kids are lovely and so is the sand, but I’d rather hear about it. I tried it once and wrote 4 paragraphs, it’s not in my blogging makeup.

    I love this series!

    I never understood Wordless Wednesday.
I still don’t, maybe you didn’t explain it right.
How can it even be wordless – you have to give it a title and that has words.

I’m going to click ‘Notify Me’ this time so I’ll be the first to know when the “Wordless Wednesday Evangelical Sisterhood” shit storm arrives.

Meh, I don’t think they’ll be that mad. Wordless Wednesday is lazy. This post took me 10 minutes tops.

And yeah, never got the “wordless” part. That part of the rule doesn’t matter. Neither does it have to be on a Wednesday.

I was thinking Margarita Monday, Watch-7-episodes-of-Yo-Gabba-Gabba Wednesday, and (don’t)-Forget-the-extra-shot-of-espresso-in-that-latte Friday. At least those posts would mirror my actual life (though I’m not so sure what they would actually SAY, now that I think about it.)

I’d participate in Margarita Monday, but the Yo Gabba Gabba day has to go…(glad we’re past that stage around here).

I hate wordless Wednesdays, it’s usually a picture of someone’s ugly child looking “cute”*. Can’t wait to hear from the people who do this… xx

*cute in this cake meaning less ugly than usual, and probably covered in some sort of sticky dessert

I obviously meant case, not cake – although sometimes the crappy picture is a of a cake, usually with the caption “ruin my diet *SADFACE*” x

I think cake worked there. Made sense to me. And you’re right, I’ve seen a ton of WW posts today with kids in them.

I’ve never even looked at a Wordless Wednesday Post. I didn’t know what it was. Now I know, I realise I wasn’t missing anything. What a stupid idea. I agree, it’s lazy blogging. If you have nothing to say on Wednesday, then don’t blog. A meaningful blogging schedule with meaningful content is, well, more MEANINGFUL than blogging crap.

See, I saved you from wasting time on a crappy Wordless Wednesday post. I’m totally a superhero.

I’m here for the chicken. Oh, and the bitchery.

    • Solitary Mama

The bitchery flows freely around here. You’re welcome to partake at any time.

Wordless Wednesday pisses me off. It’s a stepdown day so I’m pissed off anyway.

    • Solitary Mama

Well, congrats on making it to the step down day. If that helps ;)

And WW pisses me off and I quit smoking a long time ago.

Well how glad am I that I read this post before making my readers mad?!  I’m a newbie blogger, been blogging for about 3 months now, and actually thought about posting a WW post this week but decided against it.  I had seen a few before and thought maybe it was a blogging tradition and it might be good to get in on it.  Obviously not, so thanks for the heads up!  I’ll be following your blog from now on so as to avoid any other blogging faux pas!

Wordless Wednesday is pretty popular. There is a chance that your readers would not be pissed off. I find posting random pics on a blog lazy. However if you want to participate and you’re interested in that sort of thing, then you should definitely do it. It isn’t my thing, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be yours. Thanks for stopping by, Charlotte.
